Snickers Protein Dessert
A rich, high-protein Snickers–inspired dessert made from thick Greek yogurt whipped with cream cheese and cacao. Topped with caramel, melted chocolate and crushed peanuts for a satisfying, low-calorie treat.
A rich, high-protein Snickers–inspired dessert made from thick Greek yogurt whipped with cream cheese and cacao. Topped with caramel, melted chocolate and crushed peanuts for a satisfying, low-calorie treat.
Add the Greek yogurt, whipped cream cheese, unsweetened cacao powder, and powdered sweetener to a small food processor. Note: use a powdered sweetener — granular sweeteners will affect texture.
Process until completely smooth and mousse-like, about 30–45 seconds. Taste and adjust sweetness or cacao if needed.
Transfer the mousse to a container or divide into 3 serving bowls. Refrigerate for about 1 hour to let it settle and thicken (you can eat immediately, but chilling improves texture and flavor).
Melt the chocolate chips: place chips (and optional 1 tsp coconut oil) in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 15 seconds, stir, then continue in 15-second increments until smooth.
Assemble: spoon the chilled yogurt mousse into bowls (if not already divided). Drizzle caramel sauce over each portion, spread or drizzle the melted chocolate on top, then sprinkle with crushed peanuts and a pinch of sea salt.
Optional: chill briefly after assembling if you want the chocolate to set into a crackable layer. Serve chilled.
